You need to know that Preventive maintenance (PM) is the most important part of maintenance activities. Preventive maintenance can be interpreted as a maintenance action to keep the system/sub-assembly operating according to its function by preparing for systematic inspections, detection and correction of minor damage to prevent larger damage. Some of the main goals of preventive maintenance are to increase the productive life of components, reduce the occurrence of breakdowns in critical components, to get the planning and scheduling of maintenance needed.

One of the preventive maintenances that we often do is the replacement of the filter element. Replacement of filter elements needs to be done regularly. This is very necessary because the condition of the filter element that is already dirty will cause a pressure drop or decrease in the air pressure that flows. In principle, this pressure drop is detrimental if we calculate it from the value of the operating costs that arise.
